You are amazing. I’m a crazy Pearl Jam fan and finally got to see them live for the first time last month. It’s so hard finding other fans.. but any who, awesome blog. We probably don’t have much in common aside from loving Eddie Vedder but I still enjoyed reading your posts ^^

So happy for you that you finally saw them live!!! It’s an amazing experience!!!! Tulsa and Memphis were my 3rd and 4th shows and I swear each time it gets better and better!!! Please do stay in touch! I love hearing from other Pearl Jam fans!

I think Rearviewmirror describes the struggle I’ve had, and still have, with my father. The line “I gather speed with you fu*&^%$ with me” is what I hold onto when I think I can’t stand him anymore. It has given me so much strength. All of Yield, Tremor Christ, Crazy Mary, all of Ten, all of VS, Sirens, Infallible, Pendulum – yeah their whole catalog! LOL! I feel like they live inside my head and chronicle my life, through their songs, as does every other fan. What an amazing group of guys and talents! What is your favorite song(s)?

That’s deep.. I’m sorry for whatever goes on with you and your dad. When I was a dumb teenager I couldn’t talk to my dad, but I mean, I’ve grown up. We’re way way way better now. So I understand, truly.
And agreed!! I can relate to way too many of their songs.. My favorite albums are binaural and pearl jam 😛 But songs, The End, Light years, sirens, off he goes, marker in the sand, come back, better man, daughter, elderly woman, corduroy.. But especially Jeremy and dissident. Those two hit home. I’m a hopeless romantic deep down, their songs on depression (I always make a “64 degrees and cloudy” reference that no one gets), and I practically live out of my car lol.. They are truly talented, their songs are just so personal. And I can’t ever talk about this kind of stuff with people I know, no one’s as big of a fan in my life 😦 You are awesome. I feel like I needed to tell someone this lol.
